01

The challenge

The app felt dated and full of small frictions. Device status was hard to read, data was shown as raw numbers, and adding a new device was buried.

02

The process

  1. 01

    Audit what exists

A screen-by-screen critique of usability, visual hierarchy and interaction gaps across the three key experiences.

  2. 02

    Prioritise the fixes

Clear status and trust signals first, then simpler interaction: one clear action per device and one obvious way to add more.

  3. 03

    Give it a personality

A sporty, darker brand language with human data visuals, so progress feels motivating instead of mechanical.

03

The design

A device hub that shows status at a glance, and a watch and activity experience that feels connected rather than bolted on.
